About The Position
The incumbent assists with preparation of foods in the Deli. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the departmental and Seminole Casino policies, practices and procedures. Seminole Gaming is committed to providing unparalleled service to its Guests, treating each visitor as a Guest in their home. The casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a knowledge of sanitation and quality food preparation techniques.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Nice To Haves
- A culinary apprenticeship or an AOS degree from a culinary institution is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
Responsibilities
- Assists with preparation of foods in the Deli.
- Performs duties in accordance with departmental and Seminole Casino policies, practices and procedures.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Frequent lifting/carrying of weights over 25 pounds, reaching, stooping, squatting and bending.
