About The Position

The Deli Production Associate works independently to bake, fry, package, display, and stock deli products, helping ensure the shift contributes to the store’s financial best interest. Baking and frying duties are determined by the production schedule and account for approximately 80% of the role. The associate also completes other assigned duties in a timely manner and may be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.

The position is based at 6700 W. State St., Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53213. The work takes place in a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually low to moderate; travel requirements vary by assignment.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Bake and fry products according to the production schedule.
• Price, date, wrap, and/or bag deli products.
• Fill, rotate, inspect, and merchandise deli shelves, cases, and displays.
• Notify the Deli Manager when products or supplies need to be ordered.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain familiarity with department products, including differences in price, taste, preparation, and use.
• Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines.
• Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
• Perform tasks in other departments when assigned based on customer experience needs.
• Complete other assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.
