About The Position

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Deli General Manager to oversee high-volume retail facilities. The role is responsible for developing and executing travel center and restaurant business plans to meet established standards and achieve sales, profit, and customer-satisfaction objectives. The Deli General Manager ensures customer expectations are met, conducts meetings with subordinate employees, and maintains effective vendor relationships. The manager builds, coaches, manages, and develops teams, including staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training. Additional work includes driving sales, managing team members, tracking inventory, providing customer service, and performing profit-and-loss analysis. The role requires a flexible schedule that may include nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

2–3 years of management experience in a restaurant, deli, or foodservice environment.
Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with P&L accountability.
Ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture.
Integrity and accountability at the managerial level.
Excellent team leadership skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
