About The Position

Deli Clerks provide excellent customer service at the deli counter and other deli stations. They perform basic food preparation, package deli items, and clean the deli area. The position is located at 1810 12th Ave NW, Issaquah, Washington.

Requirements

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with specialty and prepared foods.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and regularly lifting 10–40 pounds.
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Previous production cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Produce prepared foods according to PCC recipes, including grab-and-go items.
• Meet department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Follow department safe food-handling procedures.
• Maintain the hot bar, including its presentation and production.
• Follow department merchandising standards and procedures, including stocking the sales-floor grab-and-go case.
• Perform packaging duties.
• May take charge of production tasks.
• May oversee other kitchen staff as assigned.
• Participate in recipe development and recipe costing.
• May perform ordering responsibilities.
