Deli Clerks arrange and prepare food, package, price, stock and merchandise food or deli goods. This role involves recommending, slicing, weighing, packing, and pricing product, performing general stocking duties, rotating product, and ensuring shelves and displays are clean and neat. The position also requires performing general cleaning duties, operating tools and equipment safely, and interacting positively with customers by greeting them politely, assisting them in finding merchandise, and providing information. Additionally, Deli Clerks must comply with supervisory coaching, function as a team member, adhere to their work schedule, and be available to work weekends, any shift, holidays, and overtime as needed in a fast-paced environment. Other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
