About The Position

As a Deli Clerk, you provide exceptional customer service and use your knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and gourmet and hot-case food items to prepare food customers will enjoy. You help make each guest’s visit memorable and may use meat and cheese slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers. The work varies from day to day. This is an entry-level position with advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
• Use knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and gourmet and hot-case food items.
• Prepare deli and other food items for customers.
• Help make each guest’s visit memorable.
• Use tools and equipment such as slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers as needed.
