About The Position
The Deli Associate serves customers in a fast-paced store and food service environment. The role involves preparing and packaging hot and cold foods, maintaining food safety and cleanliness, communicating specials and promotions, replenishing and organizing supplies, and receiving vendor deliveries. Associates may be asked to perform different duties as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have English proficiency and basic math skills.
- Demonstrate reliability, attendance, and commitment.
- Be prepared to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers enthusiastically.
- Prepare food while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and quality.
- Communicate specials and promotions to customers.
- Replenish and organize food service supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the deli.
- Receive vendor deliveries and ensure they meet standards.
- Prepare and package hot and cold foods.
- Perform various roles and other duties as assigned.
