About The Position
The Deli Associate serves customers and prepares food in a vibrant store and food service environment. The role includes making hot and cold foods, maintaining cleanliness and food safety, replenishing supplies, and supporting vendor deliveries. This is a part-time position with all shifts available, paying $12.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have English proficiency and basic math skills.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment to attendance.
- Be prepared to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers enthusiastically.
- Prepare food while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and quality.
- Communicate specials and promotions to customers.
- Replenish and organize food service supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout all deli areas.
- Receive vendor deliveries and ensure they meet required standards.
- Prepare and package hot and cold foods.
- Assist in various roles as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
