About The Position

Individuals applying for this position should be willing to make lasting connections with customers, prepare deli products including a variety of meats and cheeses (may have to handle pork), fill and rotate cases and displays (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs), help maintain a clean and sanitary store, work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department, and be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled.

Requirements

• Willingness to handle pork
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to push/pull 500 to 1500 pounds
• Walking, reaching, stooping/bending, squatting
• Operation of scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, and intercom
• Operation of pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils
• Judgment/decision making
• Social skills/verbal interaction
• Memorization, reading, writing, math
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, hot equipment and cooking oil
• Ability to lift/carry over 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to crawl occasionally
