About The Position

The Deli Associate delivers excellent customer service in the Deli department, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Key duties include assisting with product selection, preparation, and packaging, maintaining a clean and organized area, and addressing customer inquiries with professionalism and a customer-first attitude.

Requirements

  • Work well with others, fostering a positive work and guest experience.
  • Effective communication skills orally and in writing in diverse environments and with diverse customer, team members and leadership.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show flexibility in adapting to changes in systems, procedures, and culture.
  • Ability to proficiently use a Point-of-Sale (POS) sales system and other modern software
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Handle moderate to high noise levels, as well as hot and cold products, and chemicals.
  • Must be 16 or older to work with chemicals and unusual shifts
  • 0-2 years’ experience, preferably in customer service or hospitality

  • Accurately record product loss on the Waste Tracking sheet.

  • Follow proper scheduling and time-off procedures.
  • Maintain high productivity while ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment and promptly report accidents or hazards.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the facility and equipment.
