About The Position

The Market at Preston is looking for an outstanding person to join their team as a Full Time Deli Associate/Cook. This role involves providing top-notch customer service, performing food preparation and cooking, maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring food freshness. The ideal candidate is energetic, a people person, and a team player.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Basic math skills.
Sincere and positive attitude.
Background check and drug testing, required.
Able and willing to assist customers with propane refills.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships with customers, keeping them coming back again and again.
Perform various cleaning duties inside and outside the facilities to maintain a sparkling store.
Food prep: Wash, cut, and mix food items before cooking.
Cooking: Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
Cleanliness: Ensure kitchen area, equipment and tools cleaned.
Inventory: Check food stock and help order fresh items.
Check food and ingredients for freshness.
Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
Assist customers with propane refills.
