About The Position

Full Time Morning Cook/Deli Associate at the Market at Bellair. The Market at Bellair is looking for an outstanding person to join their team. This role is for an energetic, people-oriented, and team-playing individual to join their gourmet gas station team. This is a full-time position working 30+ hours per week, including weekends.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic math skills.
• Sincere and positive attitude.
• Background check and drug testing, required.
• Able and willing to assist customers with propane refills.
• Past work in a busy kitchen.
• Stamina: Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Teamwork: Work well with other kitchen staff during busy hours.
• Positive attitude
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work independently at times and as an upbeat team member
• Ability to be on feet much of the day; physically able to do the job
• Background Check and Drug Screen required

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with customers, keeping them coming back again and again.
• Perform various cleaning duties inside and outside the facilities to maintain a sparkling store.
• Food prep: Wash, cut, and mix food items before cooking.
• Cooking: Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Cleanliness: Ensure kitchen area, equipment and tools cleaned.
• Inventory: Check food stock and help order fresh items.
• Check food and ingredients for freshness.
• Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
• Assist customers with propane refills.
