About The Position

The Delegated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) primarily serves as a delegated customer release agent, ensuring product and process compliance throughout manufacturing and final product release through inspection and system review. The role may provide technical support for customer programs and related functions concerning the quality of products and services, act as a liaison to government and customer representatives, and coordinate Quality functions for specific programs. The DSQR is responsible for flowing down quality requirements and customer specifications to hourly and salaried associates.

Requirements

Have or be able to obtain certification as a Delegated Customer Quality Representative, including SAE AS13001 Release Verification Certification.
Be willing to obtain or already possess ASQ-CQT Certification or higher.
Have at least three years of experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment in a Quality Assurance role responsible for product acceptance and rejection, including hands-on inspection of manufactured products.
Be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, customer specifications, and contractual quality requirements.
Be able to use inspection equipment, hand tools, and gauges independently to verify product conformity and make acceptance or rejection decisions.
Internal candidates must currently hold a Quality Stamp or COP Stamp and be qualified to perform product acceptance activities under site quality procedures.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer use, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and the internet.
Have the vision abilities required for close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.

Nice To Haves

Currently hold or previously have held an active DPRV (Designated Product Release Verification) stamp, Delegated Supplier Representative (DSR) authorization, or other delegated customer quality representative approval with Pratt & Whitney, GE Aerospace, Collins Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, or other aerospace OEMs/Tier 1 customers.
Previous experience executing AS9102 First Article Inspections.
Previous experience interpreting and applying customer-specific aerospace requirements, specifications, and regulatory standards.
Previous experience conducting or participating in internal and external audits.
Previous experience using SAP or another enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between DuPont and customers on quality-related matters, communicating clearly and resolving issues.
Execute final product release and ensure products and associated documentation meet customer and internal requirements.
Release each lot for shipment and review it for compliance with processing and quality requirements.
Interpret customer and industry specifications and provide recommendations to management and technical teams.
Execute contract reviews, product and process quality plans, and standard work to ensure conformance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Use inspection techniques to audit processes and confirm compliance with Quality practices and work instructions throughout the facility.
Prepare and facilitate First Article Inspection.
Support internal audits, process audits, and customer audits as required.
Support review of manufacturing planning documentation and implementation of customer requirements.
Assist Quality Engineering with tasks as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
