About The Position

DuPont is hiring an experienced Delegated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) at its Valley View, Ohio site. The DSQR primarily serves as a delegated customer release agent, ensuring product and process compliance throughout manufacturing and final product release through inspection and system review. The role may also provide technical support to customer programs and relevant functions concerning product and product-related service quality. It may involve liaising with government and customer representatives, coordinating quality functions for specific programs, and flowing down quality requirements and customer specifications to hourly and salaried associates.

Requirements

Have or be able to obtain certification as a Delegated Customer Quality Representative, including SAE AS13001 Release Verification Certification.
Be willing to obtain or already possess ASQ-CQT certification or higher.
Have at least three years of experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment with responsibility for product acceptance and rejection in a Quality Assurance role, including hands-on inspection of manufactured products.
Be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, customer specifications, and contractual quality requirements.
Be able to use inspection equipment, hand tools, and gauges independently to verify product conformity and make acceptance or rejection decisions.
Internal candidates must currently hold a Quality Stamp or COP Stamp and be qualified to perform product acceptance activities under site quality procedures.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and general computer use, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet.
Meet the stated vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Currently hold or previously held an active DPRV (Designated Product Release Verification) stamp, Delegated Supplier Representative (DSR) authorization, or other delegated customer quality representative approval with Pratt & Whitney, GE Aerospace, Collins Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, or another aerospace OEM or Tier 1 customer.
Previous experience executing AS9102 First Article Inspections.
Previous experience interpreting and applying customer-specific aerospace requirements, specifications, and regulatory standards.
Previous experience conducting or participating in internal and external audit activities.
Previous experience using SAP or another enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between DuPont and customers on quality-related matters, communicating clearly and resolving issues.
Execute final product release and ensure products and associated documentation conform to customer and in-house requirements.
Review every lot for compliance with processing and quality requirements and release lots for shipment.
Interpret customer and industry specifications and make recommendations to management and technical teams.
Execute contract reviews, product and process quality plans, and standard work to ensure conformance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Use inspection techniques to audit processes and ensure facility-wide compliance with quality practices and work instructions.
Prepare and facilitate First Article Inspections.
Support internal audits, process audits, and customer audits as required.
Support review of manufacturing planning documentation and implementation of customer requirements.
Assist Quality Engineering with tasks as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
