DeFi Engineer
About The Position
Mysten Labs is building foundational infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of decentralized protocols based on blockchain technologies. They are seeking a self-starter with dynamic DeFi experience and market understanding to define, design, and implement native Sui protocols. The role involves contributing to product development and fostering the growth of the larger ecosystem, with a team focus on experimentation and iteration speed. The team uses AI tools like Claude and stays updated on the latest developments in the crypto space and other ecosystems.
Requirements
- Experience writing smart contracts.
- Experience with HFT/MM.
- Understands how markets work, how flows work.
- Actively engaged in DeFi trading and following DeFi trends/ news.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable DeFi protocols.
- Conduct market research to propose new projects.
- Build smart contracts, deploy, and setup backend systems to collect data and monitor performance.
- Active use of AI: we use Claude and other AI tools.
- Must know what’s the latest on CT. Must know what the latest developments are in the other ecosystems, who’s working on what.
