The Defense Industry Analyst will conduct all-source analysis of foreign defense industrial programs, infrastructure, and capabilities. This role supports understanding a foreign country's ability to develop, equip, sustain, and employ its military forces across basic, strategic, and military industrial sectors. The analysis will cover research, development, acquisition, test, evaluation, and production of foreign weapon systems and equipment, including their associated facilities and output levels. It also involves understanding emerging and enabling technologies and supporting industrial supply networks from raw materials to finished weapon systems. The analysis will encompass overall industrial organization, production processes, industrial control systems, design and surge capacities, cooperative arrangements with foreign defense industries, and reliance on foreign technologies. Additionally, the analyst will advise, assist, and support in the research and production of all-source counterintelligence analysis on foreign intelligence services' intent and capability to exploit, sabotage, subvert, or otherwise disrupt supply chains for critical minerals, industrial minerals, and alloys.
