About The Position
Successful applicants will be involved with all aspects of work at the facility. Duties will include daily feeding and herd checks, handling animals for annual vaccinations, assisting with classes, labs and tours at the facility. Successful applicants will also assist with research projects. Additional duties include assisting with general facility maintenance such as fence repairs and maintaining habitat in outdoor paddocks. Some weekend work is required.
Requirements
- Must be a current Penn State student (not previously employed) or an external applicant.
- Ability to perform general facility maintenance such as fence repairs.
- Ability to maintain habitat in outdoor paddocks.
- Must be able to work some weekends.
