About The Position

The Deepwater Electrician maintains electrical equipment on an offshore platform, including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, and power transducers. The role performs electrical isolations and equipment calibration, supports compliance with USCG and MMS requirements, contributes to electrical maintenance plans, and follows all safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of electrical maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Offshore oil and gas production platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain platform electrical equipment, including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, and power transducers.
• Perform electrical isolations.
• Calibrate equipment.
• Support regulatory compliance with USCG and MMS requirements.
• Assist in developing electrical maintenance plans.
• Strictly adhere to all safety standards.
