About The Position

Case Farms is seeking a Deep Reach Operator for the night shift. This role involves operating high-reach forklifts to manage pallets in a freezer environment. The operator will be responsible for ensuring equipment is in good working order, adhering to all safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean workspace. This position requires the ability to work in cold temperatures and handle products in a fast-paced plant setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Prior forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Removes pallets from the production floor and carefully places them in the correct bay in the freezer for future shipment.
• Properly inspects equipment to ensure they are in optimum operating condition.
• Notifies supervisor and/or lead of any issues with the forklift or malfunction(s).
• Safely operates high-reach forklifts under OSHA and Case Farms guidelines.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts/conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters.
• Maintains a clean, uncluttered, and safe work area.
