About The Position

This role involves operating a deep reach forklift in a night shift capacity. The operator is responsible for moving pallets from the production floor to the freezer for shipment, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and adhering to all safety guidelines. The position requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Prior forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Removes pallets from the production floor and carefully places them in the correct bay in the freezer for future shipment.
• Properly inspects equipment to ensure they are in optimum operating condition.
• Notifies supervisor and/or lead of any issues with the forklift or malfunction(s).
• Safely operates high-reach forklifts under OSHA and Case Farms guidelines.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts/conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters.
• Maintains a clean, uncluttered, and safe work area.
