About The Position

The Decorator position is responsible for loading, positioning, and adjusting unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms. This role involves cleaning and preparing containers for packing, operating printing machines by pushing buttons, turning handles, or moving controls, and inspecting printed products for clarity, color accuracy, and defects. The Decorator will monitor the feeding, printing, and racking processes to ensure specified operating levels and detect malfunctions, making necessary adjustments. Additionally, they will place printed items in ovens to dry or set ink. Reliable and regular attendance is essential, as is supporting teamwork through active participation and helping team ideas work. The role requires performing duties safely and in accordance with company policies, and other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Manufacturing/Production Environment
• Candidates should be results orientated with strong, positive leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Reliable, regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Load, position and adjust unprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
• Clean and prepare containers for packing.
• Push buttons, turn handles or move controls and levers to start and control printing machines.
• Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
• Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; make any necessary adjustments.
• Place printed items in ovens to dry or set ink.
• Support teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work.
• Perform duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
