About The Position

Deco Operators/Silk Screen Printers Needed. This role involves operating OMSO silkscreen presses, hot stamp machine, and performing silkscreen making (screen builds or mesh builds). Responsibilities include Pressure Sensitive Labeling, Shrink Sleeve, In-Mold Labeling, Heat Transfer Labeling, and Stretch Sleeve. The operator will perform off-contact printing and silkscreen plastic sheets according to different orders using UV ink on auto presses. Key tasks include setting up screens, selecting appropriate inks, mixing colors, ensuring proper alignment and registration, monitoring and adjusting the printing process, inspecting finished products, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining a clean work area. The role also involves setting up new jobs and following detailed work instructions.

Requirements

Experience with OMSO/Kammann
Direct Silkscreen Printing
Pressure Sensitive Labeling
Shrink Sleeve
In-Mold Labeling
Heat Transfer Labeling
Stretch Sleeve
Experience operating Deco silk screening/hot stamp/similar for plastics bottles or plastic containers with UV Ink
Experience with in-mold labeling, heat transfer labeling, shrink sleeves, UV Ink Silk Screening, Deco/Silk Screening of any type of plastic container or packaging
Troubleshooting skills

Preference for Deco experience on blow molding bottles or rigid containers

Responsibilities

Ensure proper alignment and registration of screens to achieve accurate designs
Monitor and adjust the printing process to maintain consistent quality and color vibrancy
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with equipment and printing process
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including simple maintenance and cleaning of equipment and common areas
Setup new jobs and maintain a clean and organized work environment, including simple maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Follow detailed work instructions to run each job
