About The Position

This summer, imagine yourself cruising in style aboard the North Star Yacht of Gull Lake Cruises at Cragun's Resort as a deckhand. Experience the breathtaking beauty of Gull Lake while working on the luxury yacht, the North Star. You'll have the opportunity to assist the Captain and crew, all while soaking in the stunning scenery of the Brainerd Lakes region. From daylight to twilight, you'll get to enjoy the behind-the-scenes magic of Gull Lake Cruises and be part of creating memorable experiences for everyone, all while embracing the warmth of Northwoods hospitality. We’re seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as a Deckhand. Your role will be crucial in supporting daily operations and helping to craft unforgettable moments for both passengers and crew.

Responsibilities

• Assist with docking, line handling, and securing our vessel to ensure smooth and safe sailings.
• Provide support to the captain and crew.
• Keep the deck and onboard areas sparkling clean and organized, creating a welcoming environment for everyone on board.
• Interact with passengers, helping them with boarding and providing important safety instructions.
• Participate in essential maintenance tasks, including light repairs and equipment checks.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures to help create a secure and comfortable atmosphere for all on board.
• Get involved with loading and unloading gear and supplies.
