About The Position

Vitesse Systems is looking for a Deburring and Metal Finishing Technician I to join the team in Harbor City, CA! The Deburring and Metal Finishing Technician I will be an impactful member of our production team, accountable for finishing functions on RF components. This role calls for an eye for precision and quality mindedness. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Detail oriented and precision work focused.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, including complex GD&T callouts.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and process-based Work Instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and independently as needed to support the group effort.
  • Able to utilize hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Basic reading, writing, computer skills such as log on, data entry, and retrieval.
  • Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR requirements.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen per Vitesse’s drug testing policy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check per Vitesse’s policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience finishing and deburring RF components highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Perform all metal finishing on radio-frequency components.
  • Support and/or perform in-plant and external processes and operations.
  • Perform metal finishing of machined components, including preparation and cleaning.
  • Support brazing and soldering of antenna feed components.
  • Support adhesive bonding and sealing of antenna feed components or assemblies.
  • Visually inspect all parts and assemblies to ensure professional appearance of finished product.
  • Support integration of antenna feed components and assemblies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
