Requirements

Some mechanical aptitude
Basic ability to read blueprints
Comfort level working around machinery in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English
Must be able to meet quality and entry level productivity standards
Ability to stay on task for long periods of time
Strong attention to detail
Ability to be at workstation on time, every day unless otherwise authorized
US work authorization

Nice To Haves

6 month’s experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to operate a manual pallet jack preferred, not required
Some familiarity with computers preferred, not required

Responsibilities

Review work instructions for manifold and determine method of deburring
Manually deburr manifold blocks by hand using files, drills, scrapers, brushes, etc.
Prepare thermo deburring machine for run; turn on gas and check connections; load program
Perform safety check on thermal deburring machine prior to operation
Run preliminary job for verification
Load/unload thermo deburring machine
Use hand light to illuminate manifold cavities for hidden burrs
Check completed manifolds for damage and contamination
Stack finished product as directed on work instructions on pallets or crates
Perform other duties as assigned by manager
