About The Position

Our Debur Technician role is an entry role into manufacturing with Burger & Brown Engineering, Inc. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to continuously grasp and manipulate small nonmetal parts.

Requirements

H.S. diploma or GED required
Experience in using manual tools and machines
Must have a positive attitude with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot
Knowledge of metal properties and other material
Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teambuilding skills

Responsibilities

Be capable of performing all aspects of the Debur Technician, working with other employees as part of a team, and be prompt and on time daily for work.
Work safely and adhere to Burger & Brown’s safety policies.
Willingness to take direction from area supervision and follow that direction.
Have the ability and desire to become efficient with part recognition and learn all aspects of job as required.
Ability to utilize a microscope for work process and parts inspections.
Capability to buff, deburr, and wash nonmetal part as needed.
Ability to cross train on various processes.
Ability to perform visual inspections.
Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers.
Use measuring devices to ensure material specifications.
Performs quality control inspections on finished products.
Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments.
Maintains equipment and ensures work area is always clean and safe.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing various other duties as assigned.
