About The Position

The Debt Manager-Recoveries-2 Wheeler & Pre-Owned Car role is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the activities of the collections department, including managing associated agencies within their assigned territory. The primary goal is to ensure the efficiency and optimization of EMI retrieval from customers, adhering to all bank guidelines to meet organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 0-2 Years of relevant experience in Collections

Responsibilities

• Managing and undertaking collections process for assigned debts.
• Regularly tracking the portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area.
• Tracking and controlling delinquency by bucket and days past due (DPD), focusing on non-starters.
• Allocating and achieving targets from agencies/in-house teams.
• Regularly following up with defaulting customers.
• Ensuring adherence to collection processes and legal guidelines.
• Tracing absconded defaulting customers and initiating recovery processes.
• Recommending legal actions for non-recoverable cases and following up with the legal team for case closure.
• Maintaining administrative data related to collections, such as updating delinquent account history, providing and maintaining MIS reports, and reviewing collection feedback on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
