About The Position

Gossner Foods is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Debox Operator for our Day Shift. This role is crucial in our cheese production process, involving the removal of cheese from packaging and assisting other Debox Operators. The ideal candidate is responsible, can work with minimal supervision, and is eager to learn the intricacies of cheese grading and aging. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Must successfully complete a forklift certification test.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts.
• Upload/Load trucks as needed.
• Learn and understand the cheese grading experience.
• Assist Debox Operators.
• Remove cheese from packaging.
• Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.
• Be trained to cover other forklift departments.
