About The Position

The Breast Shell Attendant is responsible for managing breast frames from the deboning area. This position collects breast frames, places them into vats, and stages the vats for pickup by the Forklift Operator. The role also assists with maintaining product flow and supporting production operations as needed. This position requires adherence to all company safety, quality, and food safety standards while maintaining productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Ability to climb stairs to and from workstations.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (approximately 8 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions, including gripping.
• Ability to maintain production pace while handling 48-72 breast fillets per minute.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and turning to monitor and handle product.
• Good hand-eye coordination required.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and production lines.
• MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.
• MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Responsibilities

• Collect breast frames from the debone area.
• Place breast frames into designated vats for transport.
• Stage full vats for pickup by the Forklift Operator.
• Work in damp and cool production environments.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management and group leaders.
• Remove trays from the takeaway conveyor.
• Weigh trays using a gram scale.
• Add or remove fillets to meet weight specifications.
• Return trays to the takeaway conveyor.
