About The Position
This position is for a power jack operator on the 1st shift. The role requires the ability to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. The jobs are fast-paced and involve repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ lbs, while Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment are expected. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks will be provided to qualify within Tyson Foods, Inc.
Requirements
- 3-Months operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers).
- Ability to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
