About The Position

The Debone Indirect Jack Driver operates powered material-handling equipment and handles pallets in a cooler. The role is on the third shift in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and pays $16.90 per hour. Work takes place in a fast-paced, cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. The position involves repetitive motion, constant standing and walking, and riding powered material-handling equipment. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ pounds; material handling and receiving positions require lifting 70+ pounds. The successful candidate must be able to perform the job’s physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

At least three months of operator experience listed on the application; experience may be combined across employers.
Ability to become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation.
Ability to work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures from 28 to 42 degrees.
Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand, walk, and ride powered material-handling equipment for extended periods.
Ability to meet applicable lifting, pushing, and pulling requirements.
Ability to work with others and adhere to Tyson’s safety culture.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Label, organize, and align pallets in the cooler.
Operate powered material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, after completing required specialized training and certification.
Work with others to follow Tyson’s safety culture.
Work overtime and weekends if required.
