Dean of Students
About The Position
The Dean of Students supports the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success of all students by promoting a safe, positive, and productive school environment. The Dean works collaboratively with administrators, teachers, counselors, families, and community stakeholders to improve student attendance, behavior, engagement, and overall school culture. This position assists with student discipline, intervention programs, restorative practices, and student support services aligned with district goals. Assist principals with daily school operations and supervision. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Principal.
Requirements
- Experience in supporting student success (academic, behavioral, social-emotional).
- Ability to promote a safe, positive, and productive school environment.
- Collaboration skills with administrators, teachers, counselors, families, and community stakeholders.
- Experience in improving student attendance, behavior, and engagement.
- Knowledge of student discipline, intervention programs, and restorative practices.
- Ability to provide student support services aligned with district goals.
- Willingness to assist principals with daily school operations and supervision.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
