About The Position

The Dean of Enrollment and Student Services is a key member of the College's leadership team and is responsible for advancing both enrollment and equitable student success in support of the CLC mission, "we build futures." The Dean has the primary responsibility for developing and implementing the College's enrollment management plan, ensuring enrollment growth, accelerating Case-Management Advising, and advancing student success within a culture of caring. The position supervises the following units within the College: admissions, assessment, advising, Welcome Center, registrar, financial aid, and Veteran's Resource Center.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (e.g., High Education, Educational Leadership).
  • Three (3) years of progressive secondary or post-secondary teaching or leadership experience.
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience in an educational setting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading successful enrollment management and student success initiatives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to advancing equitable student success.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and nurture a positive and supportive team culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in successful Case-Management Advising models and Customer Relationship Management Systems.
  • Skill in organizational, written, and verbal communication , including public speaking to effectively communicate with stakeholder groups.
  • Human relation skills to deal effectively with diverse internal and external clientele.
  • Experience in strategic planning and budget development.
  • Ability to manage and address customers', clients, and co-workers concerns tactfully and thoroughly.
  • Skill in project management and organization sufficient to manage multiple projects, create clear and attainable project objectives, and communicate progress and end results.
  • Ability to travel around the state and out of state periodically for related conferences.
