About The Position

Under the supervision of the Principal and/or Assistant Principal, the Dean - High School assists the school leadership team. This role is responsible for attendance, discipline, safety, and related student services, performing duties within the authority and responsibility delegated by the Principal. The Dean shares responsibilities for organizing and supervising all major events and programs with the Assistant Principal/Activities Director and Principal. Additionally, this role develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community clientele.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Administrator's License (Type D) - Colorado Department of Education

Responsibilities

  • Supports the work of a school's Administrative team.
  • Manages student disciplinary actions.
  • Serves in a leadership capacity when the Admin team is away from site.
  • Organizing and supervising all major events and programs.
  • Develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community clientele.
