About The Position

Nova Southeastern University (NSU) invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship. NSU seeks a visionary, entrepreneurial, and relationship-driven leader to guide the College into its next era of growth and distinction within a rapidly ascending R1 research university. As the chief administrative and academic leader of the College, the Dean will set the strategic vision for all academic programs, advancing excellence in curriculum, faculty achievement, and student success. Building on the College’s AACSB accreditation earned in 2023, the Dean will capitalize on this foundation to elevate academic quality, accelerate innovation, and enhance the College’s regional and national standing. The H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship enrolls nearly 2,000 students between its undergraduate and graduate programs and benefits from robust corporate partnerships across South Florida’s vibrant business landscape, including healthcare, finance, real estate development, tourism, and emerging AI-driven sectors. The Dean will guide a forward-thinking business school defined by its commitment to entrepreneurship, experiential learning, and career-focused education. This leader will advance venture creation, enterprise development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the strategic integration of emerging technologies throughout programs and operations. The Dean will also deepen engagement with alumni, employers, corporate partners, donors, and community leaders at the local, national, and global levels.

Requirements

  • An advanced degree in business or a related discipline is required.
  • Candidates may come from academic, corporate, entrepreneurial, or blended backgrounds.
  • Candidates will bring significant senior-level leadership experience with demonstrated decision-making authority.

  • Prior academic leadership experience is preferred, but distinguished business leadership paired with a strong commitment to education will be given full consideration.
