About The Position

We are seeking a highly detail oriented Dealership Accounting Clerk to support financial record keeping, document management and accuracy, and compliance related paperwork. You will support and assist our Controller with a variety of both accounting and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative, professional environment, have strong detail and communication skills, and are looking to grow their career within dealership and accounting operations!

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years in an accounting-related role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate with staff at all levels
  • Solid computer and written communication skills
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS REQUIRED DRUG SCREENING

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive accounting and Title Work experience are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve accounting schedule discrepancies
  • Perform account, bank, and parts statement reconciliations
  • Maintain organized records of sales, payments, warranties, and service contracts
  • Assist with month-end closing entries
  • Support special accounting projects and daily department operations
  • Verify all documents for accuracy and signatures
  • Coordinate with lenders, customers, and internal departments to facilitate the completion of vehicle transaction records.
