About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a premier casino entertainment company in the United States. We are seeking a Dealer to deal respective live table games according to standard rules, company procedures, and applicable gaming regulations. This role involves shuffling and dealing cards accurately, calculating the face value of cards, exchanging cash for chips, and managing bets. The Dealer will also be responsible for completing required forms, notifying supervisors of any irregularities, and providing outstanding customer service. The position requires learning and rotating through multiple table games and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable company policies and gaming regulations.
Must have excellent customer skills.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time for majority of shift.
Must be able to bend and reach across gaming table.
Must be able to use hands to deal and collect playing cards.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

Six (6) months of prior experience or dealer’s school strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Deal respective live table games according to standard rules, company procedures, and applicable gaming regulations.
Shuffle and deal cards accurately to customers.
Quickly and accurately calculate face value of cards.
Exchange cash for proper denominations of chips.
Pick up losing bets and cards from customer’s betting square. Pay winning bets and place chips in appropriate betting square.
Complete any required forms, records, and documents.
Notify supervisor of any irregularities in the game, including play, possible gaming violations, personnel, or operational problems.
Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
Learn, deal, and rotate through multiple different table games (seated and standing).
Perform other duties as assigned.
