About The Position

Rock Hill Ford is seeking dependable, professional Dealer Trade Drivers to transport vehicles between dealerships, auctions, customer locations, and other destinations. The role supports dealership operations by ensuring vehicles are transported safely, professionally, and efficiently. Drivers also assist with errands and vehicle-related tasks, communicate delivery updates to dealership staff, and provide excellent service to internal and external customers. The position offers flexible scheduling opportunities in a supportive, team-oriented dealership environment and is part of the Krause Auto Group.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
• Excellent driving skills and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport vehicles between dealerships, auctions, customer locations, and other destinations.
• Deliver vehicles in a timely and professional manner while maintaining dealership standards.
• Inspect vehicles before and after transport to check their condition and cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Run errands and assist with vehicle-related tasks as needed.
• Communicate delivery updates, delays, and route changes professionally to dealership staff.
• Follow traffic laws, safety guidelines, and dealership driving policies.
• Use safe driving practices and sound judgment at all times.
• Maintain accurate trip records, including delivery and pick-up locations.
• Use communication devices as needed to coordinate deliveries and report issues.
