About The Position
The Dealer Trade Driver operates company vehicles to transport service customers and pick up and deliver vehicles. The driver must operate within legal speed limits and drive safely at all times. The role requires an unrestricted driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive automatic and standard-transmission vehicles. Basic mechanical skills may be needed for minor vehicle maintenance, such as checking and topping off fluid levels and maintaining tire pressure. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Safety- and customer-service-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of safe driving.
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and on-time delivery of company vehicles while following company procedures and standards.
- Comply with and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Obey posted speed limits and all other rules of the road.
- Complete reports and logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
