About The Position

The Dealer Trade Driver delivers vehicles to Lithia dealerships and customers safely and on time, and communicates with Sales staff and external customers. The position is based at the dealership in Corpus Christi. Driving hours vary with business needs from 10 to 30 hours per week, with hourly pay. The role also includes checking vehicle and paperwork details, inspecting vehicles before departure, and ensuring traded vehicles are delivered with their associated items and information.

Requirements

• Valid and current Texas driver’s license.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vehicles to Lithia dealerships and customers safely and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with Sales staff and external customers.
• Verify that each vehicle’s identification number and stock number match the paperwork.
• Ensure copies of the dealer invoice accompany the paperwork for each vehicle.
• Check that traded vehicles are clean and undamaged before leaving the lot.
• Immediately notify the GSM or Manager on duty if damage is found on a vehicle being traded.
• Ensure reference guides, keys, wheel locks, and other associated items accompany traded vehicles, and provide this information to the appropriate manager when the trade is complete.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
