About The Position

This role is for a Dealer Services Specialist II at Manheim, part of Cox Automotive. The position involves being the primary point of contact for dealer clients, ensuring a smooth and professional auction experience. The specialist will act as a support for clients on auction days, ensuring operations run efficiently. The job is located at a specified Cox location in Dallas and does not offer remote work.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform at a high level and adapt within a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Vision requirements include being able to see close, far and in color, judge distances and adapt to changes in focus
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana excluded for this position)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of auction experience
  • 2 to 4 years of dealership experience
  • Previous experience in a sales support role
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Representing the dealer sales lane on sale days
  • Promoting Manheim’s products and services
  • Helping dealers get vehicles ready for auction
  • Negotiating bids
  • Consulting on pricing
  • Offering reconditioning advice
  • Solving problems for clients
  • Serving as a point of contact for clients
