Dealer Performance Metrics Manager

StellantisAuburn Hills, MI

About The Position

The Dealer Performance Metrics Manager owns the analytical spine of the Dealer Performance function. This role is responsible for building and maintaining the diagnostic capability that makes the entire intervention model work — ensuring that the outputs the field team receives are causal, prioritized, and actionable rather than descriptive dashboards that require field judgment to interpret. The Analytics Lead oversees a team of specialist analysts, each owning a distinct performance dimension across the entire dealer network, and is accountable for the quality, consistency, and operational relevance of everything the analytics function produces. Hold the matrix relationship with the T3 Dealer Co-Op Marketing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 8+ years in commercial analytics, dealer performance analytics, or related automotive data function
  • Proven ability to build causal diagnostic frameworks — not just descriptive dashboards — that isolate controllable factors from market and environmental noise
  • Strong statistical and data modeling capability; experience with root cause scoring, segmentation, and leading indicator development
  • Deep familiarity with automotive dealer performance data — iExam, scorecards, MSR, F&I, CSI/SSI, inventory, and T3 marketing platforms
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical outputs to non-analytical audiences — field coaches, BC VPs, and SLT
  • Experience building and leading small specialist analytics teams
  • Stakeholder management skills — this role operates at the intersection of field execution, commercial strategy, and data infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the causal diagnostic framework that distinguishes dealer-controllable performance factors from market, product, and competitive environment factors — ensuring interventions are aimed at the right place
  • Develop and iterate the root cause scoring methodology that produces a weighted causal profile for each dealer, driving intervention type and sequencing recommendations
  • Establish the peer benchmarking methodology that evaluates dealer performance relative to appropriate market context — not against a single national standard
  • Define the leading indicator framework for each dealer accountability dimension, ensuring the analytics function is measuring whether the right actions are being taken rather than only confirming outcomes after the fact
  • Lead a team of four specialist analysts, each owning a distinct dealer performance dimension (Marketing, Customer Experience, Inventory, Sales Operations) across all BCs, all dealers, and all nameplates
  • Ensure each specialist maintains deep diagnostic capability within their domain — building pattern recognition, intervention playbooks, and performance benchmarks that a generalist could not develop
  • Orchestrate the synthesis of specialist outputs into integrated, prioritized dealer-level recommendations that the Field Intervention team can act on without re-diagnosing from scratch
  • Build analyst capability and ensure quality standards across all diagnostic outputs
  • Develop and maintain intervention playbooks for each performance dimension — translating diagnostic findings into structured action guidance for Field Coaches and ASMs
  • Identify performance patterns across the dealer network that should inform program-level interventions, not just dealer-level ones
  • Support the development of the AI Coach analytical infrastructure and ensure the underlying diagnostic logic is sound
  • Hold the matrix relationship with the T3 Dealer Co-Op Marketing team — ensuring marketing effectiveness analytics are integrated into the dealer performance diagnostic, not siloed
  • Coordinate with the VCO and Product Allocation workstreams to ensure allocation and inventory mix factors are properly isolated from dealer-controllable performance signals
  • Participate in VCP-level analytics governance to ensure the dealer performance analytical framework is consistent with the broader Commercial Accountability Framework
