About The Position

Sydecar is seeking a Deal Operations Associate to join their team. This role involves supporting SPV leads and investors through the deal execution process, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience. The Associate will manage daily customer communications, handle inquiries, and contribute to a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and customer empathy. This is an opportunity to learn venture deal operations, build customer relationships, and gain hands-on experience with a growing FinTech platform.

Requirements

2–3 years of experience in customer support, deal operations, or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in FinTech or alternative investments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organized and process-driven with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously.
Enthusiasm for helping others, even with urgent or unclear issues.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn about venture capital, fund administration, and financial technology.
Proactive and collaborative team player thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a customer support role in FinTech, venture investing, or alternative investments.
Familiarity with fund administration or back-office workflows.
Exposure to compliance, KYC/AML, or investment documentation processes.

Responsibilities

Own customer communications for deals, providing timely, empathetic, and professional responses via email and phone.
Troubleshoot deal execution issues and coordinate with Legal, Tax, and Product teams for resolution.
Support SPV Leads and investors by explaining workflows and guiding them through each step.
Identify opportunities for product and process improvements and share insights.
Contribute to team documentation and knowledge-sharing for scale and consistency.
Build a strong understanding of customers, the platform, and the venture investing ecosystem.
