About The Position

This role is the first dedicated Deal Desk owner, responsible for structuring deals, ensuring clean commercial data handoffs to Accounting and Customer Experience, and building systems for RevOps leadership. Approximately 80% of the time will be dedicated to the Deal Desk, with half focused on day-to-day operations and the other half on building strategic infrastructure. The remaining 20% will involve broader RevOps projects that span marketing ops to CX ops.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Deal Desk, RevOps, or Sales Operations at a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or Salesforce (HubSpot preferred), including CRM architecture, custom objects, and workflows.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: CPQ build-out, contract lifecycle management, or approval workflow design.
  • Ability to structure a deal and explain the reasoning.
  • Understanding of deal approvals and critical thinking regarding deal composition.
  • Ability to read a contract and identify key components.
  • Proficiency in designing workflows within HubSpot.
  • Systems thinking: understanding data location, flow, and potential breaking points.
  • Independent operator who can drive projects forward without constant direction.
  • Hungry and curious, with a desire to learn and ask in-depth questions.
  • Team player with the ability to build trust across Sales, CX, Accounting, and Systems departments.
  • Direct and constructive communication style, capable of identifying issues and proposing solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DocuSign, QuotaPath, Gong, Clay, or other similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own data quality across the HubSpot pipeline, including stage discipline, deal data completeness, and accurate forecasting inputs.
  • Support sales reps in structuring deals, pricing non-standard configurations, and navigating commercial terms.
  • Generate order forms, manage contract details, handle special terms, and facilitate signatures via DocuSign.
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Customer Experience for clean commercial data handoffs and communication of special conditions.
  • Partner with the Business Systems team to evolve the quote-to-contract flow within HubSpot, focusing on cleaner objects, automation, and reduced manual steps.
  • Design the capture, surfacing, and structuring of contracting data, special terms, and renewals as first-class objects in the CRM.
  • Build routing logic for approval workflows that flag deals based on size, discount thresholds, or custom terms, and notify relevant executives.
  • Establish workflows for customer renewals and expansion motions.
  • Transition proposal generation from manual processes to automated solutions.
  • Participate in broader RevOps strategic projects impacting marketing ops and customer experience ops.
