About The Position

You will help structure profitable, compliant transactions that address the needs of internal corporate customers and accelerate deal closures. You will partner with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to improve deal velocity and revenue outcomes. This is a Hybrid role (3 days onsite) based in San Jose, CA.

Requirements

• Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk
• Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements
• Experience structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services, and support
• Proficient in software revenue recognition accounting (e.g., SOP 97-2) and related practices
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and written skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Meet with sales teams to identify customers' critical business issues and structure transactions that meet both the organization's requirements and the customer's needs
• Manage the day-to-day deal approval process and act in a fiduciary capacity for first-line approvals
• Communicate deal value via documented business cases to cross-functional stakeholders
• Certify customer contracts and ensure transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
• Prepare in-quarter deal status updates and communications to management
• Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness and productivity
• Perform to specified metrics and service levels and ensure compliance with policy and procedures
• Interact regularly with Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Order Management, Credit, and other internal functions
