About The Position

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a healthcare-focused Director to join their Deal Advisory practice. This role will support M&A activities for Private Equity clients and strategic corporations, offering services such as buy-side and sell-side due diligence, working capital assistance, merger integration, and divestitures. The practice advised on approximately 650+ deals in 2025 with an aggregate transaction value exceeding $25 billion. The ideal candidate will have experience leading healthcare M&A engagements and be comfortable with both strategic discussions and deal analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline
10+ years of professional services experience
7+ years of demonstrated healthcare diligence experience with providers and/or payers
Strong GAAP, data analysis/mining and critical thinking skills
Willingness to travel as needed (expected <15%)
Eligibility to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Advanced Degree or relevant professional certification such as CPA or CFA
Experience working with Private Equity groups

Responsibilities

Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side accounting and financial due diligence engagements
Develop relationships with clients and engage in effective interactions with target company executives
Perform quality of earnings and working capital analyses
Identify and evaluate matters that potentially impact enterprise value and the purchase or sales price
Identify and evaluate financial and operational trends of target companies
Communicate effectively, both verbal and written, due diligence findings
Supervise multiple professionals and prioritize tasks, serving as a hands-on lead for engagements from inception to completion
Participate in performance reviews and new business development activities
