About The Position

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Division. This position oversees the delivery of contracted services provided to persons with developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include: 1) Directing and implementing quality assurance activities; 2) Approving or denying changes to individual cost plans for all recipients; and 3) Managing the budget and ensuring expenditures are within the regional budget allocation. Requirements

  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities treatment, trends, and rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Knowledge of cost allocation principles, budgeting, and contract processes.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, public administration, business, or human services related field.
  • Five years job-related experience working in the developmental disabilities field.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
