About The Position

Coordinate services that are referred by the Department of Child Services (DCS) and provided by Centerstone across all programs. This includes direct contact with the DCS referral source, arranging access to services, and oversight of the DCS case. The role involves facilitating meetings with Centerstone staff who provide services to DCS families, acting as an advocate when necessary, and maintaining communication with internal service providers and other involved parties. The DCS Liaison will obtain the DCS Case Plan to ensure all Centerstone services align with it and provide ongoing communication to DCS regarding referral status and service impact. They will also communicate the overall status of DCS cases and coordinate internal services for Centerstone staff.

Requirements

Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is required, preferable in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
Experience working and/or volunteering in the Behavioral Health Field, Criminal Justice, or Social Service fields is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Facilitate meetings with Centerstone staff who provide services to DCS families, and act as an advocate when necessary.
Maintain necessary communication with all internal service providers and other involved parties.
Obtain DCS Case Plan and ensure all Centerstone services are in alignment with DCS.
Provide ongoing communication to DCS regarding status of referrals and impact of services.
Communicate to Centerstone staff about the overall status of the DCS cases, and coordinate internal services.
