About The Position
Coordinate services that are referred by the Department of Child Services (DCS) and provided by Centerstone across all programs. This includes direct contact with the DCS referral source, arranging access to services, and oversight of the DCS case.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is required, preferably in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
- Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working and/or volunteering in the Behavioral Health Field, Criminal Justice, or Social Service fields is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate meetings with Centerstone staff who provide services to DCS families, and act as an advocate when necessary.
- Maintain necessary communication with all internal service providers and other involved parties.
- Obtain DCS Case Plan and ensure all Centerstone services are in alignment with DCS.
- Provide ongoing communication to DCS regarding the status of referrals and the impact of services.
- Communicate to Centerstone staff about the overall status of DCS cases, and ensure internal services are coordinated.
