About The Position

The DCO Architect will be responsible for key contributions in developing Threat Defense Solutions, focusing on detection, automation, and development of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This role enables the client to achieve measurable growth and maturity. The architect will work with in-house teams to identify the right mix of tools, techniques, and procedures to translate customer needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. This role requires a critical approach to solution design, identifying gaps, providing alternatives, and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and business needs. The architect will create technical solutions to identify security threats, enhance detection capabilities, and drive improvement in response efforts.

Requirements

6+ years of experience supporting DoD or government agencies
3+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell
Knowledge of Agile development
Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, version control systems such as Git, operating systems such as RHEL and Windows, and virtualization, including VMware
Ability to develop tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
Ability to travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations up to 25% of the time
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
Experience with application containerization
Experience with modeling network configuration in JSON and YAML
Experience with network automation in Python and Ansible
Knowledge of networking principles and concepts
Knowledge of API design and object-oriented principles
